Gretchen and the Sidecar Six is an authentic swing band based in Washington, DC. Specially designed to play for swing dancers, the Sidecar Six features two horns and a full four-piece rhythm section, led by vocalist Gretchen Midgley. The Sidecar Six plays a blend of true transcriptions from the 30s and 40s and original arrangements by renowned reed player and arranger Scott Silbert.
